Mission Fashion - Prime 5
The prime tonight was as interesting as usual. The guest was Lebanese singer Amal Hijazi, who gave immunity to the designers Antoine & Ra'ed by choosing their designs as her favorite.
As for the task this time, it was the tricky task of designing a 30's dress.
All the designers did their best, and the outcome was great for all of them & this time I'm not going to say which designs were my favorite! -What was your favorite design?-
But it was interesting to hear how dresses evolved & changed from the 20's to the 30's!
As for the nominees, the designers to leave was Mohammad from Egypt, although the votes were extremely close between him & Baligh from Tunisia.
The results for the model nominees was a bit shocking; the votes were extremely close too, and the one to leave was Christel from Lebanon!

After Amal Hijazy suffered from the big criticism of her latest clip "Beya3 el ward" cuz of her weird appearance in the clip and which lacked feminan...she is now facing big criticism cuz of the logo which was on her T-Shirt of "Mr.B" Leather & Rubber the great big store in Amsterdam and Berlin which sells only clothes,shoeses and sex toys for gay men

So Did Amal knew what this logo refers to? did she mean to wear it so as to continue what the Director Yehia Sa3ada meant 2 show specially that her acting in the song was Man-ish a bit especially in the scene where she was sitting in the floor and smoking cigarette?

In An Interview with her in Nadine Magazine:

Nadine: There is big discussions on the web cuz of the t-shirt u appeard with in ur last clip, did u choose it or the responsible of Wardrobe did?

Amal: Yehia sa3ada brought it 2 me and i don't know and don't want 2 know what it means

Nadine: That's all what u've 2 say 2 us

Amal: (didn't talk)

Nadine: Do u know this logo?

Amal: no i don't, Yehia sa3ada in the beginning brought 2 me white t-shrit but it was tight near breasts so he brought 2 me another t-shirt from Carine(the photographer who works with yehia) which i wore in the clip

Nadine: did they explain 4 u the meaning of the logo which was on the T-shirt?

Amal: No, but i think it is logo of store, that what i'd been told lately

Nadine: and it is store which sells gay products..and the existance of the logo on ur t-shirt says as if u advertise for this brand...!

Amal: defenitly i don't advertise for things like that and i didn't know about the whole topic, and i knew that it is store in Amsterdam which sells clothes and i don't know what it sells
Nadine: Not clothes but his main products r the sex toys and lubricants,dildos and everything gays use in their intercourses

Amal: (in harsh voice) defenitly i don't know and sure if i knew about it, i wouldn't wore it even i didn't read what is written on the T-Shirt, and i never visited stores like so as 2 know that shop...i considered it normal T-shirt and if the press ignored the topic and didn't enlarge it, no body would have talked about it and may be only gays would have known

Nadine: It was loudly talked about the topic in many forums online...we called u 2 explain 2 us

Amal: OK,i didn't know anything about the topic and write by my name "Amal didn't know what was written on the T-Shirt, and she didn't notice and yehia brought 2 me this t-shirt and pair of shoes from Carine" and i don't have any idea what MR.B refers to and i don't have time 2 pass in stores like that...and i thought without concentration that the falcon on the T-Shirt is for "Armani" brand.

Interview with Yehia Sa3ada the director of the clip..

Nadine: we would like 2 ask u about Amal's clip

Yehia: go ahead

Nadine: u dressed amal white t-shirt has "Mr.B" logo, do u've any idea what Mr.B stores sell?

Yehia: No, tell me

Nadine: it sells gay products

Yehia: (nervously) First of all it doesn't only sell 4 Gays but for all what is related 2 sex

Nadine: No, we visited their site and it is obvious that it mainly sells gay products

Yehia: (interrupting) and what wrong about gays?!

Nadine: We r not against anybody and the problem is not about gays, the problem is about Amal's situation as if she advertises for these stores, or as if these stores sponsor the clilp..my question is "This thing was meant 2 be or not?"

Yehia: no wasn't meant 2 be, we brought many T-shirts but they didn't fit Amal and that T-Shirt was the only which fitted Amal so she wore it, and if we knew that the topic will make this huge discussions we would have removed the logo by photoshop in the editting

Nadine: Would u remove it from the clip now?

Yehia: (nervously) the clip already released and people talked about it, and if they want ground us they would ground every singer who accepted to put gay characters or transexuals or drag queens in their clips and there r many clips which contain characters like that, why they stopped specially at Amal and why they didn't ground those on their encouragment for gayness?!

Nadine: Which video clips?

Yehia: Would i name them now for you?

Nadine: Yes

Yehia: no i wouldn't, u track and watch clips by urself, and in my opinion that thing is not wrong as like there r normal straight people in our society, there are also gay people

Nadine: There is difference between presenting dramatic template for gay person in a video clip and advertising directly or indirectly for a brand of sexual product

Yehia: in my opinion, it is enough talking about this topic cuz it took bigger than it deserved, and it occured without we notice and it was not meant mistake

Nadine: What will be ur reaction if Rotana company decided to ban the clip?

Yehia: (didn't talk and answers to skip the question) sorry i work now and my brain is busy, so i can't concentrate with u and i don't want to talk without thinking, plz call me back later.
